A judge has decided to abandon further

Maxwell trials. The judge accepted the argument of defence council that a second trial would be an abuse of the law. He recognised that Kevin Maxwell had already been acquitted of fraud in a marathon first 192-day trail. The judge also accepted that adverse publicity after the first trial would prejudice any jury considering the collapse of Robert Maxwell's empire.
