CHARGE OVER ASBESTOSIS SUFFERER'S DEATH

A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a terminally-ill man found tied up & shot in his home. Police said security consultant William Hammell from the Medway area of Kent would appear in court tomorrow. Jeremy Debonnaire of Bearsted Kent had been sent home from hospital after doctors said they could do no more to treat his asbestosis. There were signs of a break-in at his semi-detached bungalow on October 18.

POLICE FIND MORE DEVICES AT FARMHOUSE

Irish police who found a suspected IRA arms cache in a Co Donegal farmhouse say they have uncovered another two explosive devices there. A police raid early yesterday on the isolated farmhouse netted a primed mortar bomb high-powered rifles ammunition & explosives. Six men were arrested in the swoop. One was later released. The five are due to appear at Dublin's anti-terrorist Special Criminal Court.
