BODYTwo men have been questioned

by detectives after the murder of prostitute Sabrina Brett 17 who was found in the Grand Union Canal near Milton Keynes yesterday. STRANDEDA new catamaran service on its maiden voyage has been stranded on the other side of the channel because of bad weather. It had been travelling from Brighton on a press launch. MATCH Ex-Pakistan cricket captain and jetsetter Imran Khan 42 has announced his engagement to heiress Jemima Goldsmith 21 daughter of financier Sir James Goldsmith.

BURUNDI RELIEF WORK TO BE SUSPENDED Relief agencies in Burundi plan to

suspend non-emergency operations for a week while staff consider how they can continue their work there. The agencies are also protesting at the recent murder of a Greek relief worker in the north of the country. During the suspension likely to be from 22 May relief agencies will discuss security with the Burundian authorities. They will also consider the effectiveness of their work given the deteriorating conditions there.

CULT LEADER CHARGED WITH MURDER

Japanese police have brought murder charges against the leader of the Aum Supreme Truth cult. Shoko Asahara was arrested while meditating alone in a hidden room at the cult's headquarters near Mount Fuji. Mr Asahara denied any involvement in the Tokyo underground poison gas attack which killed 12 people & injured more than 5 000. Thirteen other members of the sect have been charged in connection with the attack two months ago.

TWO BANK STAFF SHOT IN EAST LONDON

Two men have been injured by gunmen as they delivered cash to the Bank of India in east London. The men aged 42 & 44 were pulled out of a parked vehicle & shot in the legs. The would-be robbers escaped empty-handied. The victims were said to have suffered minor injuries & were taken to Newham General. One of the suspects has been arrested; the other is still free. Two armed units are continuing to search for him.

GREENPEACE MEMBERS ON POLICE BAIL

Four members of Greenpeace staff who were arrested in connection with criminal damage to a pipeline have been released without charge. However they have been put on police bail to attend Reading police station on 13 June. Greenpeace has named the four as campaigners John Sauven 40 Janet Convery 39 Iain McSeveny 33 & William Peden 29. Police want to question two other Greenpeace members who are expected to speak to police in due course.
