New Northern Ireland Secretary Dr John Reid admits he has a "great deal to learn" but has pledged to make sure the Good Friday Agreement is implemented. Energy minister Peter Hain has refused to quit anti-nuclear group CND after Tories accused him of double standards. Shadow trade & industry secretary David Heathcoat-Amory demanded the new minister quit CND or give up anything to do with the nuclear industry.
