MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED OVER MISSING ZOE

A local man & a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murdering missing Wiltshire schoolgirl Zoe Evans. But detectives say inquiries are continuing into the disappearance of the nine-year-old from her home in Warminster a week ago. Clothes stained with blood of the same group as Zoe's were found yesterday. Meanwhile Zoe's younger brother Glen has been moved to a temporary address in the area.

A man & woman are still being questioned about the disappearance of Wiltshire schoolgirl Zoe Evans. It is thought they are the mother & stepfather of the girl who vanished from her Warminster home a week ago. Detectives say the nine-year-old has probably been murdered. Posters of the nine-year-old have been put up in Warminster and a hoarding on a lorry showing a photo of her was driven around the surrounding area.

MURDER INQUIRY TWO WEEKS AFTER DEATH

Police have launched a murder inquiry two weeks after an 83-year-old widow was found dead. Daphne Cole was first thought to have died from a heart attack at her home in Bury St Edmonds Suffolk on January 5. But her family raised concerns & a new post mortem was held which revealed she was strangled. There was no sign of forced entry or a struggle & no indication the house had been searched.
