JOY AS YACHTSMAN BOBBED UP IN WATER

The captain of the Australian frigate which picked up British yachtsman Tony Bullimore has said they had been working on hope rather than confidence. Raydon Gates said they heard tapping noises from the hull but thought they might have come from loose wood. Other rescuers said the sailor's recovery had come just in time. He was in remarkably good shape despite losing a finger & suffering from mild hypothermia they said.
