Ulster Democratic Party leader Gary McMichael has warned he will be forced to resign if the party changes its policy on the Good Friday Agreement. Mr McMichael spoke amid signs that a majority of UDP members are now against the agreement. He told the BBC's Inside Politics that he was "someone who is fundamentally and irreversibly pro-Agreement". He denied being told he will be removed as leader unless he changes the policy.

Home Secretary Jack Straw told MPs that #454m was available for recruitment this year & in the next three years.
